MAGIC SLEDS & LONGTIME FAVORITES

9'6 BIGPIN

This one covers ground.  Big enough to handle small peelers, but light enough under-foot to be carved in the really fun stuff in the head high range - it honestly feels more like a big midlength than it does a longboard.  Surfing these like a log will net a decent result, but when you start to surf it like a midlength the'lly explode.  Walkability up and down the board that no mid-sized board has, and paddle power thats incredibly useful when the waves just aren't doing it.  First glances might be deceiving, but the wide nose is extremely light and foiled, with no excess bulk forward.

Fin Recommendation:  9" Greenough 4a or 9" L-Flex (in Volan preferably) from True Ames Fins.
